Electric Waves are a 4 piece band who provide a diverse, unique musicianship unmatched by competitors. Many other bands provide a genre specific repertoire whereas Electric Waves pull a huge array of genres into their set list mixing the old with the new and playing with a musical dexterity that belie their years...'From Bob Marley to Kings of Leon, The Jam to Van Morrison, Red Hot Chili Peppers to Ed Sheeran, Oasis to Dizzee Rascal, The Beatles to Paulo Nutini...singer Carnell Cook pulls them all off with aplomb.'The fact that modern Indie numbers and classic Rock and Roll can sit seamlessly alongside Reggae and Hip-Hop flirtations, makes this band perfect for the modern wedding or party as they pride themselves in catering for today's consumer who due to the advent of the internet and online streaming are more exposed to music of all genres. We believe that function bands should cater for everyone and Electric Waves pride themselves on tailoring your event to your personal taste. The band have extensive experience playing at weddings, parties and corporate events across East Anglia and London, also bagging highly acclaimed appearances on BBC Radio 6 with Huey Morgan, BBC Introducing, countless festival slots including Latitude as well as support slots with BBC Radio 1 prime time rockers Lonely the Brave. Other notable support slots include gigs with London based Roots, Reggae Rockers, The Skints and Carnell & Alex have shared the stage with none other than global megastar, Ed Sheeran. Alongside providing live entertainment at countless wedding and private parties, Electric Waves are available for weddings & functions as well as public shows and offer a full PAT tested backline which includes PA, lighting, amplifiers and a DJ upon request.

Electric Waves performed at our wedding, and were the highlight of the night, they learnt our first dance song and extra reggae at our request and they were amazing. Electric Waves played at our wedding recently and we couldn't be happier! They came in and set up without being noticed. They did a cover of our first dance song and we couldn't be happier with there version of this, it made that whole moment so special!
The band played 3 live sets which were all amazing and had everyone up and dancing, they played a variety of different songs and genres for all tastes. In between each live set they played a DJ set which was also fantastic. We've had a lot of people comment on there performance and as an added bonus, they look the part too! (No stuffy suits/shirt and ties).
We would highly recommend.
Awesome Awesome Awesome! These guys smashed it! They nailed our first dance song and the dance floor was full for their entire set. On top of that all our guests said how good they were with a mix of songs to suit all tastes, but with their own spin. Highly recommended! Don't waste your time searching for another band, these boys are outstanding! Music aside, they are a great bunch of guys and it was an absolute pleasure to have them at our wedding. Cheers boys!
Electric Waves performed at our wedding earlier this month, and were absolutely fantastic! They were totally awesome and we can't thank them enough!
